Ibrom has worked at the Professional and International level in six countries across three continents in the past twenty five years.
Jess Ibrom is the current National Men’s Head Coach for the Country of Samoa and is a dedicated and passionate senior level football professional with 25 years elite high performance experience working in the country of his birth the UK, USA, New Zealand, Mexico, Cook Islands and Samoa. Ibrom is also an Elite Player & National Coach Developer and a UEFA “A” (English FA), OFC “A”, USSF “A” Licensed Professional Coach. Ibrom recently completed the Advanced Certificate in Sporting Directorship with FOCUS Education and the Crusaders Coaching Leadership Programme. Ibrom is also a certified National Coach Developer for the New Zealand Football Federation.

Ibrom has held a number of high performance elite coaching roles and senior technical management positions at Professional Clubs throughout the World working with Chelsea FC of the English Premier League (High Performance Coach and Head of European Operations), Wellington Phoenix FC (Academy Director) of the Hyundai A League, Houston Dynamo (Head of International Academy Recruitment) of the Major League Soccer. Tasman United FC (Director of Football and Head Coach), Cook Islands FA (National Senior Men's & U19's, National Academy Director and National Technical Director). Oceania Football Confederation and New Zealand Football Federation (Coach Educator). Football Federation Samoa (National Technical Director).

Ibrom has kept modern and up dated with the changing plateau in elite player and coach development observing 50+ professional football clubs and national teams in over ten countries including Chelsea, Celtic, New York City, Manchester City, San Jose Earthquakes, Tottenham Hotspur, Budapest Honved, Ferencvárosi TC, Real Salt Lake, Sheffield United, Melbourne City, Newcastle United, Barcelona, Torino, Juventus, West Ham United, Norwich City, Ipswich Town, New Zealand National Teams, Switzerland U21's, Hong Kong National Teams, Pachuca FC, Mexico U17 National Team, New Zealand All Blacks.

Ibrom is regularly asked to be a guest speaker at FIFA, OFC, MA, English FA and NZF Conferences sharing his knowledge and expertise on Elite Youth Development, Talent Development and High Performance. Ibrom has travelled throughout South-East Asia, Mexico, USA, Oceania, Australasia identifying elite footballers for Chelsea FC and the Houston Dynamo, resulting in a comprehensive network of contacts globally at the elite level.
Notable Achievements
Ibrom has established FIFA Talent Development Scheme elite residential academies in two National Member Associations in the Oceania Region. Qualified national teams to their highest ever placings at FIFA recognised tournaments. Played an influential role in the development of elite footballers through individualised pathway programmes into professional and International football at FIFA Youth World Cups. Developed coach education frameworks in national member associations.
INTERNATIONAL COACH
Ibrom has coached and prepared International teams at World Cup Qualifying Competitions throughout the Oceania Region.

Ibrom has successfully prepared and supported national teams to their highest ever placings at OFC and FIFA recognised tournaments within the Oceania Region. Alongside this being the National Men’s Head Coach for three National Teams.

Ibrom has held a number of high performance coaching positions and senior technical management roles at Professional clubs throughout the world. This includes working with Chelsea FC of the English Premier League as High Performance Coach and Head of European Operations, the Wellington Phoenix FC as Academy Director in the Hyundai A League and the Houston Dynamo of the Major League Soccer. Ibrom has also been National Technical Director and National Head Coach for the Countries of the Cook Islands, Samoa and a Coach Educator for the Oceania Football Confederation and the New Zealand Football Federation. Ibrom was Director of Football and National League Head Coach for Tasman United FC in the New Zealand national league. Ibrom has played an influential role in the development of a number of current professional and international footballers now plying their trade in some of the top professional leagues around the world.
