National Men’s Head Coach 2024 - Present
In August 2024 Ibrom was taken on by the Football Federation Samoa to guide the senior men’s team through it’s world cup qualifying phase.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare Men's National Team for OFC and FIFA Qualifying Tournaments.
• Actively recruit potential players of interest overseas.
• Drive domestic training camps and International training camps in the lead up to international competitions.
Notable Achievements
• Advanced to the second round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Oceania qualifiers
• First time in history winning FIFA World Cup Qualifying Games consecutively.
SOUTHERN FOOTBALL FEDERATION
Head of Football Development & National Coach Developer
2023 – Present
In January 2023 Ibrom took on the role as Head of Football Development for the Southern Football Federation covering the region of Central Otago (31,186km Land Area).
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Head of Football Development for initiatives for one of the seven regions region in New Zealand on behalf of the Regional Football Federation.
• Enhance coach education whilst mentoring and supporting coach’s individual pathway.
• Support club development as this relates to the regional and national body (New Zealand Football Federation).
COOK ISLANDS FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
National Academy Director
2023 – 2024
In July 2023 Ibrom took on the role as National Academy Director for the Cook Islands Football Association.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish a National Academy. • Established FIFA Talent Development Scheme. • Established full player pathway from U9’s - U19’s. • Prepared national teams for OFC Preliminary and developmental tournaments. • Identify players of interest throughout the Islands of the Cook Islands. • Mentor national academy staff to be better prepared for OFC, Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.

Technical Director
2020 – 2022
In August 2019 Ibrom was taken on as Technical Director for the Football Federation Samoa. Ibrom is one of just 211 FIFA Technical Directors globally. Ibrom’s role is to drive the direction of the federation through the management of all aspects of technical football development programs as they relate to FIFA and OFC.
HIGHLIGHTS
• Established National Training Groups from U10’s – U23’s. • Six technical staff recruited within 18 months. • First FIFA Beach Soccer Course in history. • First Full Time Senior National Coaches appointed. • 2022–2026 Long Term Development Plan created. • First annual Operational Plan’s for all divisions established. • First Country wide FIFA Women’s LTDP established.

TASMAN UNITED FC
HEAD COACH & DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL
2018 - 2019
In July 2019 Ibrom signed a contract to lead Tasman United FC in the ISPS Handa National Premiership the top tier of football in New Zealand. Ibrom was tasked with developing all aspects of the club from academy up to first team. Ibrom would be one of only ten national league coaches working at the highest level of the game in New Zealand.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
• Highest placed finish in franchise history. • First time in franchise history defeating Team Wellington. • Biggest win in franchise history with a 5-0 win over Southern United FC.
• Ended Auckland City’s unbeaten run, handing them first league defeat in 2 years (49 games) and first time in franchise history defeating Auckland City.
• Youngest team in history fielded for a national league game average age 19.6.
COOK ISLANDS FA
Technical Director & National Teams Advisor
2016 – 2018
In July 2016 Ibrom signed on as Technical Director for the Country of the Cook Islands. Ibrom prepared all areas of national team preparation. Managed technical staff in both Rarotonga and Aitutaki. As well as managing the strategic direction of the Member Association aligned to FIFA and OFC.

• Established 6 National Academies. • First OFC Education Centre in the Oceania Region commenced 2017. • First FIFA Grassroots and Youth Coaching License took place in Rarotonga. • U17 Women’s National Team Qualify to the the semi final stage of the OFC Preliminary Competition for the first time in history. • First FIFA GK Course in 4years. • Highest number of coaches (17) qualified to OFC C License Level.
OCEANIA FOOTBALL CONFEDERATION
NATIONAL COACH EDUCATOR
2016 - 2018
Ibrom represented the Oceania Football Confederation as a Coach Educator delivering a number of FIFA and OFC Coach Education Courses alongside lead OFC Instructors within the Oceania Region.

• Delivered OFC Grassroots up to OFC C License Level Courses. • Highest number of Senior C License Coaches successfully accredited in Cook Islands history.
WELLINGTON PHOENIX FC
Academy Director/Head Coach
2013 – 2015
Ibrom was taken on by the Wellington Phoenix as Academy Director to establish the club’s first elite residential academy. The academy would be one of the first in the Hyundai A League. Ibrom recruited 34 players both domestically and internationally. As well as overseeing all aspects of the academy program both players and staff.

• Two academy players signed to professional contracts with club.
• Two players represent New Zealand U17’s in World Cup Qualifiers.
• One player represents Fiji U17’s in World Cup Qualifiers.
• One player represents Vanuatu U17’s in World Cup Qualifiers.
CHELSEA FC
High Performance Academy Coach & Head of European Operations
2011 – 2013
Ibrom was headhunted from the UK to take on the role as High Performance Academy Coach and Head of European Operations. Amongst Ibrom’s many responsibilities these included supporting the director of football and managing directors in the operation of the academy. Chaperoned elite players in professional trials to Chelsea FC as well as scouting and recruitment trips for the club around South-East Asia, Latin-America and Europe.

• 2 players represent New Zealand U17’s in World Cup Qualifiers.
• 5 players represent New Zealand U17’s at the 2011 U17 World Cup in Mexico.

HOUSTON DYNAMO FC
Head of International Recruitment & Academy Coach/Consultant
2013
Ibrom was seconded by the Houston Dynamo in early 2013 as an international scout, academy coach and consultant. Supported all academy teams including being the Assistant U18's Coach at the Dallas Cup 2013 under James Clarkson (Houston Dash Head Coach). Ibrom also supported the U13 academy team to tour to Chivas Guadalajara as well as academy fixtures throughout the region of Texas and around the United States against other Major League Soccer academy teams. Whilst scouting Ibrom’s role was to identify elite level players around seven different locations throughout Mexico to filter into the Houston Dynamo Academy through an initial trial.

• Over 500 players scouted throughout six different locations in Mexico.
• 2013 Dallas Cup Finalist.
• International tour to Chivas Guadalajara in Mexico.

KING’S LYNN TOWN FC
Head of Youth Development & Head of Elite Football
2006 – 2011
Ibrom was Head of Youth Development and Head of Elite Football for King’s Lynn Town FC a semi-professional club currently playing in the Vanarama National League. Ibrom’s role was to the Manage all elements of the programme covering a region of 70 miles delivering to over 1000 children/young adults weekly. Ibrom managed over 10 full-time coaches as well as liaising with professional clubs around the north-east of England.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
• Successfully developed elite football programme to 12 teams.
• Developed fully comprehensive curriculum for coaches and players.
• International tours throughout the UK, Barcelona FC and Torino FC.
• Successfully stabilised all elements of programme to gain charitable status.

Professional Elite Coach & Player Development Officer
2000 – 2005
Ibrom worked throughout the north-eastern side of the United States providing a wide range of coaching skills to youngsters aged 5 - 18 years of age at various sites. As well as providing specialist clinics to players and coaches and working closely with a number of Super Y League clubs.
